Why would you even eat non-Meaty Balls?

Today I had a sandwich from the Meaty Balls mobile truck, and being the non-conformist that I am (P.S. I am wearing an American Apparel hoodie right now), I didn't actually get the meatballs. The guy recommended the BBQ pork sandwich, and it was awesome. Best BBQ I've had since the last time I was in Texas. Delightfully tangy and sweet, and the meat was not overly sauced, yet somehow all moist. There were also apples inside which really hit the spot AND the bread was not soggy. The truffle-sprinkled chips were delicious as well!

I don't have a problem

I could probably state, with reasonable certainty, that etsy.com is my gateway drug. Gateway to well organized, visually-stimulating, user-friendly internet shopping. It is delightful in every way. Through etsy, I began to discover that there is a huge design scene in Portland, OR, my home town. Here's a dress by Liza Rietz that I would love to wear if I didn't work in a laboratory with harsh chemicals.

Introductions

It seems that everyone and their mom has a blog these days, so why not try to start my own. I'm not sure what it will become, but it will likely involve pretty dresses, shiny objects, food, and nothing much related to science.
